Cowdray is a one of the most important remaining Tudor houses in England, now ruined. It was visited by both Queen Elizabeth I and King Henry VIII, and was partially destroyed by fire in 1793. It hosts many child-friendly events throughout the year.

465 acre country estate owned by Kew Gardens and home to the Millennium Seed Bank, with ornamental gardens, temperate woodlands and an Elizabethan Mansion. The estate also includes 'natural play features' for children.
The "World Famous Amazing Maize Maze" together with fun activities in the adjoining Farm Park make this an unmissable family day out in the Sussex countryside. There's a new maze design and theme every year - the Angry Birds are flying in for 2012!
