Located just 20 miles from central London, with more than 30 rides, this is one of the UK's best theme parks. Specialising in 'extreme rides', it's definitely a park for thrill junkies, and best suits slightly older children. A great day out.

The big rides include:

  • Stealth – A 205 foot high rollercoaster that takes you from 0-80mph in a stunning 2 seconds.
  • Nemesis Inferno – Dangling under the track, you won’t know which way is up as you loop, spin, side-wind, dive and corkscrew.
  • Saw – A 100 foot ‘beyond vertical’ drop, with three inversions along the track and horror movie theme.

There are also around 12 attractions suitable for smaller children, from the Canada Creek scenic railway, to the Chief Ranger’s Carousel, to the Wet Wet Wet water slides.
