Frantic and extensive theme park, which is a firm favourite of younger kids. There are more rides for 3-8s than in other parks, and the big rides aren't too extreme for those a little older. Look out as well for the great stunt shows on the lake.
In all, there are around 60 rides, shows and other attractions, specifically targeted at the 3-12 age range. And there are also around 55 million LEGO bricks!
There are some great water rides including an excellent log flume. There are various rollercoasters – none of them particularly severe. And there are plenty of interactive rides, e.g. car driving, little power boats, mini diggers. Plus there are playgrounds, various places to play with LEGO, and a maze. The whole park is divided into themed zones: pirates, knights, adventureland, etc.
Kids will also love the LEGO mini-world, which includes models of major tourist attractions from around the world, and lots of planes, trains and moving vehicles.
Please note that there are some hilly sections of the park, and particularly by the entrance/exit (where you can take a train up/down).
How to get there Print This Page
Car: The Park is located on the B3022 Windsor/Ascot road just two miles from Windsor town centre. It’s easily reached via the M25 and clearly signed from the M3 (Junction 3), M4 (Junction 6) and all approach roads. You have to pay separately for a parking ticket.
There is an alternative route to and from the park once you are in Windsor. From the roundabout at the end of the Windsor Relief Road, follow the ‘Alternative Route’ signs starting at Goslar Way. This route is longer but can be quicker during peak traffic times. On the return journey, turn right at the LEGOLAND roundabout and follow signs for Windsor Town Centre.
SATNAV: Once close to the park, please follow the brown tourist information signs rather than your SatNav as some systems incorrectly direct you into a residential street.
Rail: Windsor & Eton Central Station or Eton Riverside Station; a shuttle bus service stops close to both. Please note that this is a paid for service and is not operated by the Park. The first bus leaves Windsor at 10:00 and the last bus leaves 30 mins after the Park has closed. Alternatively, take a taxi.
